Local residents can get in the know about all things transportation in Utah’s Dixie at the Ninth Annual Dixie Regional Transportation Expo on Feb. 5.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Dixie Convention Center Ballroom, 1835 Convention Center Dr. in St. George, attendees can find out about things like regional transportation projects being planned over the next 30 years, the measures government agencies are taking to educate the public about things like driver safety, and efforts to expand services at the new airport, city parks and trails. A 30-minute walk through the expo will educate all those interested about developing traffic and transportation issues in the Dixie region.

As an added bonus, participants at this year’s expo can enter to win a Kindle Fire or free golf passes.
