Runners, take your marks for the annual Dog Town Half Marathon on Feb. 25. The 9k and 5k runs will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the half marathon will begin at 9 a.m.

The Dogtown Half Marathon is a 13.2-mile course stretched across beautiful Washington City. Runners will start in Coral Canyon, run down through Hell’s Canyon and along the Virgin river, out Washington Dam road, through Washington Fields, past Staheli Farms and end at Treasure Valley Park. It is a perfect training distance for full marathons.

Registration for the 9k and 5k runs is $30 and the cost for the half marathon is $45. The events are for individuals ages 8 and older. All registrants will receive running shorts, according to information from Washington City.

Whether beginner or veteran racer, runners will enjoy a quality experience on this course. There is also a looped 9k run that starts and ends at Treasure Valley Park.
